Deborra-Lee Furness is the actress wife of Hugh Jackman, who has the potential holiday smash hit Australia, coming out this month with Nicole Kidman. Furness and Jackman are highly involved with the first ever National Adoption Awareness Week in Australia. Deborra-Lee Furness and Hugh Jackman are adoptive parents to two children - eight-year-old Oscar and three-year old Ava.
Deborra-Lee Furness commented she feels the adoption process should not be so long.... "People are waiting for so long - a minimum of three years and sometimes up to ten," ...."And you hear there are 133 million orphans in the world. There are families for the children - let's make it happen faster."
